Born in Sydney, Australia, Ken Gale is the originator and of the SeaShell Awning. Designed and patented in 1998, Ken has found much success with the unique product within the Australian marketplace.

Ken spent much of his early career in Product Development and as a Designer. Ken’s passion for figuring out how things work and how to make them better has served him well over the years. He has worked for Pro Surf Australia as the Product Development Manager which lead to numerous product innovations for the Surfing Industry. Ken has worked with such surf legends as Rob Machado, Taylor Knox, Taj Burrow and many others throughout the 1990’s.

Ken is now heading the Operations and Manufacturing for SeaShell International. His vision and passion for the global distribution and success of the SeaShell Awning product line has lead him to the U.S. where he plans to continue the growth and development of the North American market.

Ken has recently moved to Carlsbad, California full time to develop and grow the SeaShell product line through the global market.
