The BackLot consists of two SeaShell Awnings covering the outdoor filming space where the morning show films special sit-downs and cutaways to add to the San Diego morning news show.

The unique design of the SeaShell Awning is not only adds to the look of the space it also softens the light providing a better look during filming. The photogenic SeaShell awning also creates a conversation piece that adds to the overall decor of the area.
